NIIT Technologies UK were proud to sponsor a Computer Business Review dining event on 4th September in conjunction with Datamonitor at the prestigious restaurant, Rhodes Twenty Four. Located on the 24th floor of the City of London’s tallest building; Tower 42. Rhodes Twenty Four is the latest offering from Britain’s top chef and Michelin Star winner, Gary Rhodes.
The topic of the evening was How to succeed with e-Retailing. The evening gave NIIT Technologies the opportunity to engage with CEO’s and IT Directors from prospective retail clients, to share with them an understanding of the challenges faced with e-commerce initiatives, and offer advice and information.
Ravi Pandey welcomed the delegates who then enjoyed a very insightful presentation by Mr Vijay Ghei of NIIT and by Mr Neil Saunders, an independent Retail Analyst from Verdict Consulting. Neil presented the strategies, success factors and challenges faced by the business and technology in e-Retail. He covered the state of e-Retail, the online Shopper - how ‘one size doesn’t fit all’, and future drivers of success.
Thought provoking and interesting discussions ensued with Sarvesh Bhatnagar and Rajat Kataria sharing NIIT technologies value propositions in Retail. The evening was wrapped up after a sumptuous 3-course dinner, with NIIT Technologies handing over complimentary gifts to attendees.
