ChampionIT is an award presented by Microsoft, which recognises the daily efforts of IT professionals who are often called-upon when problems arise, but are rarely celebrated when systems are running smoothly.
Winners are identified via a judging panel and public vote. The Champion of ChampionIT is recognised by both industry insiders (Microsoft and an independent judge) and their peers (IT Pro’s). Every six-week a new IT Pro is awarded the title of ChampionIT, and in April 2008, we are pleased to announce that this award went to NIIT’s very own Tarun Sharma, Design Leader on one of our British Airways projects. "This is an appropriate recognition and win in the year of ‘innovation’ at NIIT Technologies” comments Ravi Pandey, UK BU Head who continues “we all at NIIT Technologies congratulate Tarun on this wonderful achievement”.
Tarun who wins an array of prizes such as Windows Vista & Microsoft Office, as well as the sought after ChampionIT award says “I am extremely honoured to be Microsoft ChampionIT Award Winner. Many thanks to all those who have voted for me around the world."
