It is therefore no coincidence that NIIT Technologies scored high among global outsourcing suppliers of various service lines that were included in the survey this year.

In 2008, the Black Book: Travel Industry user survey investigated IT contracts held by 1200 of the top airlines, travel agencies, airports, hotel chains, cargo companies and other travel corporations globally. 18 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or criteria were employed, scored on each respective vendor by client type and ranked on a 1-10 scale per KPI.

Within the Travel Industry Vendor Ranking, NIIT Technologies were listed as Number 1 for Information Technology Outsourcing and Number 1 for Business Process Outsourcing.

In the insurance survey, 2885 respondents ranked suppliers providing over 725 individual BPO, ITO or bundled contractual arrangements. NIIT were listed as third in the ITO category and seventh in the BPO Outsourcing vendor rankings.
